Reuel asked Bill for Erin's hand in marriage over breakfast on Christmas Eve, 2013. We told Erin on Christmas Day and she took 7 days to decide if Reuel was the one. Little did we know that Erin had already had dreams that he was to be her husband. So on New Year's Eve, Bill told Reuel over lunch that Erin said yes. Reuel said that was the longest week of his life! Erin and Reuel spent the next 6 months getting to know each other. This was done only in a group setting. They were never alone during this time. In June, 2013, Erin and Reuel had a Betrothal Ceremony. It is very much like a wedding, but they did not live together or consummate their marriage. They committed to spend time for a year getting to know one another and prepare for marriage.

After the ceremony, Erin came home and committed to learning for a year what it means to be a wife. Reuel's job was to continue working, saving money, and preparing a place for the two of them to live. He found and bought a house, fixed it up, and surprised Erin with it on Valentine's Day, 2014. You can see their cute house on their Facebook Page.
Erin and Reuel got married on May 31, 2014. They just had their first child on July 26, 2015. Her name is Navah, which means beautiful in Hebrew. Their second daughter Raeya (means friend in Hebrew) came on December 21, 2016, which is also my mom's 82nd birthday.
